Our eyes are exposed to enormous stress every day – from blue light from screens to UV rays outdoors. To stay healthy in the long term, they need targeted protection and a good supply of important nutrients.

What strengthens the eyes:

  • Antioxidant protection against oxidative stress
  • An optimal supply of nutrients for the retina and optic nerve
  • Protection from UV rays through sunglasses and a balanced diet

What can weaken eyesight:

  • Continuous blue light exposure from displays
  • Smoking – increases the risk of eye diseases such as macular degeneration
  • Nutritionally deficient diet – too few vitamins weaken the eyes from within

What you can do:

  • Consciously reduce screen time and take regular breaks
  • Wear sunglasses when outdoors
  • Eat nutrient-rich foods – especially vitamins A, C, E and omega-3 fatty acids
